Mitch Gibson



Mitch (Michelle) has been teaching Yoga since 2002, following a high profile career in the fitness industry, which started way back in the Jane Fonda days of the 80’s. Even though most of her time is now spent running her busy Yoga studio, YOGABOWL in Lane Cove, teaching will always be her first love, and her therapy.

Mitch’s philosophy around Yoga continues to evolve. While maintaining utmost respect for the original Yogic teachings, her 34 years experience teaching humans AND her sense of logic strongly supports the necessity to modify poses and teaching styles for many individuals in order for the practice to remain accessible, functional and safe. As a generation, our lifestyle and postural issues are quite different to what they were all those years ago in India.

Specialising in teaching people how to do LESS, Mitch leans toward teaching gentle, therapeutic-style Yoga. Restorative Yoga has become her greatest Yoga love, her specialty, and her personal practice.

Lou is an advocate and pioneer of the Pilates Method and fitness for health and wellbeing.  She is a world-class, accomplished teacher, educator and trainer with over 25 years experience.

Dani Laught



Daniela’s Yoga journey began several years ago when she found herself attending a fully packed Yoga class. Feeling confused, overwhelmed, unable to breathe properly and sore, she afterwards decided that Yoga was not meant for her.  Focussing instead on keeping her physical body active, she dived into various indoor and outdoor activities and completed thorough training in the area of fitness and well-being. After developing an early onset of arthritis and becoming increasingly restless and unhappy, Yoga slowly found its way back into Daniela’s life.

Experiencing the powerful and transforming benefits of Yoga for herself, Daniela’s curiosity for this ancient philosophy steadily grew and she eventually decided to complete her first teacher training. To deepen her knowledge further, she went on to study with Michael de Manincor and Lisa Grauaug  from The Yoga Institute, authentically trained in the tradition of T.Krishnamacharya.

Daniela is dedicated to continuously study the true nature of Yoga teachings.  She is fascinated by the therapeutic benefits of Yoga and is therefore currently studying Yoga Therapy with The Yoga Institute. With her kindness, her compassion, her own personal story and her colourful enthusiasm for life, Daniela makes Yoga real, authentic and accessible to everyone. She believes in a holistic approach to health and well-being and provides a non-judgemental, caring, supportive, fun and inspiring space for people’s unique differences and individual journeys.

Mandi Jackson



Hi, I’m Mandi Jackson and I love sharing the profound joy and transformation Yoga has brought into my life. I believe everyone should be able to enjoy its benefits through skilled instruction.

I began my Yoga journey at 16 years old as I struggled with anxiety and depression; Yoga offered a gentle and disciplined practice that allowed me to experience an integration of mind and body that I did not know was possible. This miraculous healing stoked a fire and passion which I had to share and I began teaching my earliest classes for free for anyone interested. I began my formal 500-hour Teacher Training at YogaWorks, a renowned training provider where top Yoga teachers in North America go to learn and teach.

I’ve been a full-time Yoga instructor for over 7 years and I teach across all ages, levels and methods. I pride myself on providing safe client-centred instruction that is sensitive to individual needs, giving particular emphasis to breath awareness and alignment. I love seeing students leave my class feeling strong, calm and vibrant.

An accomplished Flexologist, and a Personal Trainer for 10 years with 15 years Muay Thai experience – Kristen has recently combined her love of dance and dance music in with her fitness work studying Barre Attack under Renee Scott in 2017.

A lover of classes especially Yoga, Dance and Pilates – Barre is a perfect fit for Kristen. Expect great music in her Barre classes – as she also runs her own label Let The People Dance. She loves anything that involves being around people, music, working out and dancing.

Tory Lane



Tory is a certified Yoga & Yogalates teacher. With a penchant for many of life’s guilty pleasures, Yoga is her trusty equilibrium. While she loves the dance like flow of linking breath with movement and flowing through her Yoga poses, she was drawn to the discipline of Yogalates following the discovery of many imbalances in her physical body – which inevitably enhanced Tory’s teaching style.

Tory understands the meaning of mind body connection. She practices with awareness and consciousness; exploring, enquiring and feeling all the time. When she’s not teaching Yoga in Sydney, she runs international Yoga retreats in Italy and other exciting places.

Theresia Hall



Theresia is a certified Yoga instructor (500 hours Yoga Teacher Trainer) and Pregnancy/ Kids Yoga Teacher Qualified.  Her diverse practice and Yoga study experience has included the Bikram method, Shiva Rea, Maty Ezraty and Simon Park, though she is drawn to the Vinyasa style. Having practised Yoga for about 10 years Theresia has taught Yoga since 2014 – she has been dancing and teaching ballet since 2014.

From a dance/ ballet background, Theresia is a qualified ballet teacher with the Royal Academy of Dance, and has completed certification in Fitness and Barre Attack and is now the ballet instructor for Ballet courses as well as a Barre attack instructor in various places in Sydney.

Apart from Yoga and Ballet, her other passion is with Aikido – (a Japanese martial art) at UNSW  ( and she is a Senior  IT Consultant for a large consulting company.

Rachel Weiner



As an accredited fitness instructor, Rachel’s quintessential philosophy is to bring out the very best in each and every one of her clients.

Trained in Classical Ballet, National Character Dance and Contemporary Dance, Rachel’s vast experiences extend to performing in the Sydney Opera House, Carriageworks, the Australian Theatre for Young People, the Seymour Centre, and the Belvoir St Theatre in Sydney. She is also Principal of the Club PERÓ Rhythmic Gymnastics club, where she is Head Coach and Judge at three private girls’ schools.

Having attained her Barre teaching accreditation, Rachel is excited to share her love of movement and fitness through her passion and dedication to Barre.




Steph has been involved in creative movement all her life: with a childhood spent vaulting and partner dancing, her interest in moving the body playfully has only increased over the years.

From initially being a way to balance her body and find stillness, yoga has completely transformed her approach to life and movement. Over the past 12 years, she has been blessed to experience and learn from a variety of fantastic teachers and styles.

Today, teaching movement and connection to our own bodies is Steph’s passion. 

She is a certified Vinyasa and Yin Yoga Teacher & Coach, AcroYoga and AntiGravityYoga teacher. She teaches Pre- and Postnatal, as well as Kids’ and Teenager Yoga. 

As one of the most senior AcroYoga teachers in the region, Steph teaches series, retreats and 5-day AcroYoga immersions in Austral-Asia. 

Her yoga classes blend Vinyasa yoga with creative sequencing, inspired by holistic movement patterns. With 25 years of movement teaching experience and a passion for soft directive touch, she creates an experience that aims to speak to everyone. 

Off the mat, Steph works as a Business Coach and Bodyworker.

Lindsey Bailie



“If you can breathe, you can do Yoga” – Krishnamacharya

Lindsey fell in love with Yoga over 20 years ago and began her teaching journey in 2013. In that time, she has studied and gained qualifications in Trauma Aware Yoga, iRest Yoga Nidra, and Tweens Yoga – as part of her training and teaching experience. Her teaching style is inspired by Krishnamacharya, the father of modern Yoga, and she’s passionate about finding a way to make Yoga poses accessible to every body.

Lindsey offers a grounded class with freedom to explore your own breath and connect it with dynamic Yoga sequences, taking what you need each class. Expect some quiet time and a journey inwards ending with a guided savasana.

It’s Lindsey’s belief that Yoga is for the mind, and a smooth calm breath leads to a smooth calm mind. The Yoga poses are just the fun icing on the cake. In class, you will be guided to experience the present moment, sense the body and notice the breath and mind connections.

When not practicing or teaching Yoga Lindsey is being a Yoga nerd reading all things Yoga related especially on how beneficial Yoga is for your mental health and wellbeing.


Ellie Paddon


Ellie began dancing aged 3 in her hometown of Portsmouth in the UK, studying most forms of dance including ballet, tap, modern, jazz and competitive disco and rock n roll. Having appeared in numerous stage and TV productions both in the UK and Europe, Ellie hung up her dancing shoes in 1999 to travel the world with her husband.

After settling in Sydney in 2006, Ellie soon discovered and fell in love with Pilates and Barre, gaining her Matwork Pilates and Barre certifications in 2012 and completing her Pilates diploma in early 2017. She enjoys sharing her passion and enthusiasm for these incredible workouts and endeavors to make each and every class challenging, safe and fun.


Hollie Driscoll


Hollie has practiced Yoga since 1999, completing her first teacher training in 2002 with Mark Breadner and Karen Schafer. Soon after, Hollie completed her Ashtanga Yoga apprenticeship with Eileen Hall and studied Tibetan Buddhist Philosophy and Meditation with Khenpo Ngawang Dhamchoe.

Having been lucky enough to study with some of Sydney’s best teachers, Hollie has honed her skills and brought her knowledge and love of Yoga to her teaching that is based in traditional Hatha Yoga, combining flowing vinyasa, focus on alignment and breath, and the stillness of meditation. 

Hollie has taught in Sydney since 2002 – most recently running her own studio: Randwick Yoga Space, for the past 4 years. We’re thrilled to have her join the team at GYM 115.

Kim teaches full time around Sydney, with annual trips to India to both teach
