Jonny has always been into exercise from a young age, playing a variety of sports
throughout his younger years. Now focused on body building, functional training and
aesthetics, Jonny has ten years of knowledge and experience in the fitness industry to
pass on to his clients.

Fitness isn’t just a job or a hobby for Jonny, but a way of life. He has a real passion for
what he does and because of this passion, his knowledge is ever expanding.

JJ COUTTS

JJ Coutts is the Founder and Owner of Outer Strength Fitness. His extensive background in sport has inspired him to pursue a career in the fitness industry, with his focus on getting the best out of clients. JJ’s ultimate goal is to create a 5 star service and experience for OSF clients. He strives to educate, motivate and simplify all aspects of busy professionals’ exercise, nutrition and mindset leading them to achieve the goals that they dreamed of when starting with OSF.

The most important factor JJ prides himself on, and endeavours to pass onto his team of trainers, is to care. OSF cares about your health, fitness and, most importantly, your results.

SIOBHAN PETERSON

Siobhan is a Senior Personal Trainer and Pilates Instructor at Outer Strength Fitness.

She believes that EVERYONE has the ability to improve their health and fitness no matter what barriers, whether physical, mental or emotional, they may need to overcome.

Siobhan’s knowledge base is extensive, specialising in Exercise Nutrition, Body Transformations and Pre- and Postnatal Coaching. Her background as a teacher also gives her a unique edge in identifying her client’s strengths and areas for improvement, inspiring her to educate them across all areas of nutrition and fitness to assist them achieve their goals.

Siobhan prides herself on her ability to equip her clients with the motivation and skills needed to prioritise fitness and nutrition into their increasingly busy lives. This strategy not only sets her clients up to meet their goals in the most simple and effective way possible, but also ensures their long term success.

Her enthusiasm is contagious and she uses this to ensure her clients fall in love with their training program, are motivated to challenge themselves in achieving new PB’s every session and, most importantly, they ENJOY the process of transforming their body, routine and mindset.

Alex Drury

Alex Drury

PT / Instructor

Alex is a personal trainer for Outer Strength Fitness who has been playing sport and living an active lifestyle ever since he was young. He has spent most of his youth playing AFL and basketball, while also having some experience in athletics. While he has continued his participation in team sport into recent years, he has placed more significant focus on gym training, specifically around body building and strength training.

His passion in leading a fit and active lifestyle has led to him recently completing his undergraduate degree in Applied Science (Exercise and Sport Science) and will undertake Masters in Physiotherapy in 2021. His experience with this degree allows him to apply current evidence-based strategies into his training, which aim to provide the most beneficial and maximal results for clients.

Alex is always looking to help his clients in whatever ways possible when it comes to health and fitness. By providing him with your goals, he will help you to become the best version of yourself.

JP

PT / Instructor

JP is our young and talented trainer from São Paulo, Brazil. Sports have been in his bloodline for generations as his father was a Pro Powerlifter and his grandfather a Judo fighter.

He has over 7 years experience of bodybuilding training and 3 years of MMA, recently he has done his first Natural Bodybuilding competition through ANB where he came in 2nd in his division and 3rd Overall.

JP desires it is to help others achieve their goals, make people become their best. He is specialized in muscle gains, toning, weight loss, increase of strength and martial arts training.

Focused on building a specific workout designed for individual goals, PT sessions 1 on 1 or couple sessions and also group classes at the gym.

A little bit about me!

Before I worked here at 115, I worked at a burger place. Bit of a weird jump hey? I’d always liked fitness but had never thought about it from a career perspective. In July 2019 I was looking to escape my old job, yet I was still stuck looking for openings in hospitality. It wasn’t until someone suggested applying to work at a Gym that I even thought about it as a possibility. Applying for this job was the best decision I’ve ever made. I’m so happy to finally be working somewhere that aligns with my interests and skills. Oh and the people help too. 😉

Fun facts:

  • I believe that the Creative Arts are an important part of children’s education and shouldn’t be taken for granted. I consider Creativity in the same vein as Fitness, as the end goal is identical – to have a healthy mind and body! There is something in the Arts & Fitness for everyone.
  • I was homeschooled! I’ve never studied at a “real” school.
  • I broke my wrist when I was 15 and it looked like the letter S.

Tina is one of Gym115’s receptionists. She started training with us as a member in mid 2020 and instantly fell into the Gym115 community.

‘I didn’t just find a gym, I found a family that pushes me to be my best on every level, physically and mentally.’

Her bubbly personality made her an easy choice to join the Gym115 team a short while later.

Currently, Tina is in her Honours year of her Biotechnology and Biomolecular sciences degree at UNSW. She is fascinated by the human body, and all the cellular processes that mediates as a system to allow us to function and to move. A curiosity that is also embodied by the active and healthy lifestyle Tina leads.

She loves lifting big weights, and in her own training is striving to get stronger everyday. She understands what it’s like to step foot into a gym as a female beginner, having started strength training 5 years ago. If you spot her in the gym don’t be afraid to say hi! She’s always happy to have a chat, but don’t bother asking what she’s training – it’s probably leg day 🤣
